Kenneth Bryson is a highly skilled and passionate teacher committed to maintaining the highest standards of excellence in his studio. Mr. Bryson teaches healthy, sustainable vocal technique in a supportive environment to help students reach their potential in a variety of genres, including classical, musical theatre, and pop. Mr. Bryson brings to his teachings a wealth of training and performance experience, over 25 different operatic and musical theater roles, as well as more than a hundred recitals and concerts throughout the U.S. and abroad. He maintains an active performance schedule in conjunction with his teaching.
Mr. Bryson currently maintains a full private vocal studio in New Jersey and serves on the faculty of The Pingry School in Martinsville, NJ. He has also served as a guest vocal clinician for several area choral programs. He is a full and active member of the National Association of Teachers of Singing, which selected him for its competitive and prestigious Intern Program in 2010. In 2009, Mr. Bryson worked with the internationally recognized voice clinician and speech-language pathologist Dr. Linda M. Carroll in New York.
Students' recent accomplishments include acceptance into the NJ All-State and Regional choruses, school select choirs and musical theater productions, summer programs at the Paper Mill Playhouse and CAP21, and prestigious college music and drama programs, including the Manhattan School of Music, Indiana University-Jacobs School of Music, Ithaca College, New York University, Westminster Choir College, Royal Conservatoire of Scotland, and many others.
